Ernest C. Simmons with his great eye for detail ventured into the swamps and
barrier islands of Florida at a young age to learn to paint in nature's
classroom.
Mr. Simmons has received many awards including the
achievement of being named Florida Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year, winning
the Florida Duck Stamp contest, and placing within the top ten multiple times
in the Federal Duck Stamp contest. His original paintings hang in many
prestigious collections and his status as a Florida wildlife artist is
unparalleled as his work touches and stimulates our emotions.
